The All Important Second InterviewSecond interviews can be the longest most detailed of all interviews. The interviewer will ask more detailed questions. They will want to know detailed work history and knowledge. They want to know that you will be the best person for the job. Have good knowledge of what you did at a previous job. Make sure to emphasis on duties that you may be doing at the new employer.

Show your range, give detailed information. Don’t just say you ran a report and gave it to the boss weekly. Say every week you were responsible for giving details on the previous week earning etc… Make what you do sound interesting and important. Give details as if you were writing a manual on you job.

Be prepared to answer questions, they will ask them. They probably will always ask why you want to quit your current job. Give an honest answer but a professional one. Don’t say because your boss and you argue all the time. Say that you are looking for other opportunities in your field. Be brief and short with this. Don’t make them question what type of employee you would be by complaining about your job.

Remember that second interviews will be very detailed and could take quite a deal longer. Just be prepared and everything will go good.
