Dress for Success
Katie Zabrocki over at the University of Nebraska wrote a great article about how to dress for an interview. The articles is titled “Dress for success: Tips for interview attire.”
“Looking good on paper and looking good in person are two completely separate things. Interviewing is as much about your skills as it is about your presentation. Here are a few guidelines from Bill Swanson at the Career Exploration and Outreach Center to ensure your attire says “professional” when meeting with prospective employers:
When interviewing for a job, it’s best to dress above the position that you are applying for. Over-dressed is better than underdressed. If you are unsure of how to dress, a suit is always a safe bet for men and women.”
