Job Interview Questions

Following up after a job interview is very important. It shows the employer that you are still thinking about the interview and are still interested in the job. It also makes them think about you again. This is a good way to show that you have the ability to follow up on a task. Here are a few ways to follow up.

Call

• A simple call to say thank you is greatly appreciated.
• Ask if they have made any decisions on the positions.

E-mail

• A quick message saying thank you.
• This also is a little less intimating for you and the employer.
• Probably not is effective as calling, but it is still polite.

Mail

• A simple a note thanking them for their time

It’s usually best to follow up an interveiw within a week or so. You don’t want to wait too long and have them forget about you. But on the other hand, you don’t want to call them in the car on the way home either. But, be sure to follow up after an interview.
