Networking

It’s important that you talk with all of your friends, family and neighbors about job searching. Let everyone know you are looking. You’d be surprised how many people will say “hey, you know my company is hiring…”

Recently, my neighbor asked if I knew how to write a cover letter as well as how to act in an interview. Little did she know I had this site. I told her to come here and read. Then I helped her with a cover letter and gave her some basic interviewing tips. Guess what? She got the job.  read more »

More Interview QuestionsI had an interview today, and it was actually kind of refreshing. There was none of the “where do you see yourself”, etc. questions.
