Following up after a job interview is very important. It shows the employer that you are still thinking about the interview and are still interested in the job. It also makes them think about you again. This is a good way to show that you have the ability to follow up on a task. Here are a few ways to follow up.

• Why are you leaving (did you leave) your present (last) job?
• What do you think of your boss?
• What do you feel this position should pay?
• What are your long-range goals?

Be aware that there are people out there trying to get your information for illegal purposes. Criminals will take advantage any way they can. Even people who post a resume online can become victims. If you receive an email from a company asking you to fill out an application online and they ask for your date of birth, this is huge red flag. Companies are not allowed to ask this question.
