The Purpose of a Job Interview
So you turned in your appliation and wait by the phone to see if you get that call. You finally do. They ask you to come in for an interview tommorow at 10:00 am sharp. You kindly thank them and hang up the phone. You’r heart starts to race and your palms start to sweat. You wonder what they will ask and how should you answer? This is a good time to get yourelf prepared.
Job Interviews are what employers do to weed out the bad candidates. You may have submited a killer application or resume but can you handle a tough situation? They want to read your personality and see if you are the right person for the job. They want to view your presence and see what you are realy like.
Employers will ask interview questions that are made to make you think. They don’t want someone who is unable to answer even the simple questions. Employers are looking for your strengths and weakness’ during the job interview. Employers are trying to get a gut-feeling for who you are, and they do this through a job interview.
