Should I Take the Other Position?

You are offered a position that you didn’t apply for. What do you do now? This is very simple. Get all the answers before you decide you are not interested.

An employer may ask you if you would be interesred in another job for the simple reason that you are not what they are looking for in the job that you interviewed for but believe you still would be an asset to the company.

Never turn down another position in a company that you want to get into with out hearing all the information first. Listen to the job. Consider it. This will at the very least get your foot in the door.

Any good company will hire within the company first for new positions and if your not in the company you may not even know about it. This is also a good way to show that company what you are made of. Interviewers are very good at seeing where people will fit in their company and know what kind of person they want for that job.

So take into consideration all offers the interview will present to you. Never walk away empty handed.
